Kiss me now, because in the Age of Steel, you can’t. Forget the heat of flesh on flesh. The only thing you’ll feel is the brutal coldness of metal upon metal. Chilling, isn’t it?

Embrace me now, because you will feel no pulse within me then. My heart will be captivated within a cage of titanium, a breathless enclosure of steel that ticks only with the gears and sparks of a robot.

Listen to me, because the voice you once called soft and sensual will become flat and tinny. There will be no whispered endearments, no impromptu bouts of song, no whistling to mimic the nightengale’s greeting.

Speak to me now, for I will have no ears to hear you with. My mind will be linked to a droid that controls all speech and thought, and I will have no conscience left in the guise of mindless madness.

What? Well… I don’t know when this Age of Steel will come, or if it will ever. But please kiss and listen anyway, just in case it does.
