Happily Ever After. What do you mean, happily ever after? How do you define happily ever after? In fact, who are you to define happily ever after? Isn’t it a subjective term, happily ever after? This isn’t a rhetorical question. Yes I am waiting for an answer.
Were you there, and you saw the happily part? Are you immortal, so that you witnessed the ever part? And the after part, why were you even involved in the first place, being of no relation to them whatsoever? Do you even know these people? What country do they live in, and what year were they born?
You call yourself a Writer, Sir, and I hold you in the highest esteem. I know I’m only eight, Sir, and I’ve been reading your stories for only two years. But I’m going to be the world’s greatest lawyer one day, Sir, and I wish you’d be more punctual in your responses. I really, really, really want to know what happens next. Thumbellina disappears after page 12, and the Sandman fades away after page 29, and then we never see the end of the little mermaid. If she still exists and Eric takes ill, I’d like to marry her.
I want more, Sir. And happily ever after isn’t going to cut it.
