Shoes by Andy Warhol

Shoes by Andy Warhol

Shoes from the start was made because of necessity. Shoes evolved into what it is in the new generation because of the innovations done on it because of requirement. Requirement and necessity are synonyms but yet could convey opposing connotation caused by its use.

From where did requirement stemmed?

As humans progressed and as the world changes there came a much needed journey to be made in order to countenance continuousness of existence. Hence foot coverings came to about because of the need to cover the foot as the medium of flight. Birds, fishes and other animate beings other than humans where given inherent protection for their medium of conveyance that never did they have to resort to invention.

Alas; woe to the man, given with an intrinsic intellect to manage everything on Earth. Nature had forgotten the precious covering for the feet or that’s the purpose intellect was awarded to them.

Untitled by James Rosen

Untitled by James Rosen

A monochromatic presentation of abstract lines worked into the canvas, created through strokes and gestures. The painting is symbolic and haunting through the stark representation of blacks, greys and browns hues.

A beautiful landscape of blurred strokes, defined lines and feathered blows. A gathering of seemingly different picture assembled into a collage yet uncollected in its denseness. A stark reminder that not only colorful master pieces could draw depth and intensity from a response.

Judge it by the view you first perceive or by the emotion you will identify from the lightness of some strokes and by the firmness of all the lines. Landscapes, half faced portraits, couple walking hand in hand and children frolicking are just a few of the collaged pictures you may distinguish from the presentation. While seen from another perspective you would identify storms, collapsing bridges, fallen trees and raging waterfalls. Whichever you alone is the master of the scene you comprehend and notice, nobody else.

In The Lost no. 2 by Zhang Jie

A self-portrait; the series In The Lost of the artist presents different depiction of the artist’s moods in a pensive and detached way like “You’ve seen me at this but you should not judge me because you don’t know what I’m going through.”

How does being lost depicted by the pensive air of the girl in the portrait?

Being alone and unhappy always defined by one word and that is “lost”. And how could a person’s pensive mood be defined other than “feeling lost.” Lost where or when? It doesn’t matter when and where did she felt the beginning of such feelings; what matters most is that there are persons who could deduce the depth of feelings with just one look at an individual’s “faraway look.”

The beginning of an unhappy thought would encroach on you without warning and bewildering, some may call for help but others will bottle it up inside discrete with that lost look.
