I’ll tell you the truth, child. You can’t change their minds. You can only change you. You can’t change their nightmares. You can only explore your own dreams. In adding a few flakes of chili you can ruin a dish or you can create a flavorful masterpiece.

People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you.
