He Said:

You sometimes have to be something you’re not,
You sometimes wish you were a tiny little dot,
There are times in life when I want to hide,
There are times in life when I like to sit on the side,
I’ve realised in life those times are never good,
And if you can be seen, you really should,
Let someone around you, know you’re there,
For I’m sure there’s someone who’ll always care.

She Said:

This poster takes me back to Manhattan – My very own optical illusion. I have only been once, for a weekend. I didn’t go skating at the Rockefeller, I didn’t go up the Empire State Building and I didn’t go shopping at Bloomingdale’s. My recollection of the city is hazy – but one moment stands out – an apartment in Midtown and trying desperately hard not to say ‘I love you’ when all I want to say is ‘I love you’. Now I keep a piece of Manhattan next to my bed. A snow globe with a yellow taxi and the Brooklyn bridge. If I could return and observe, would we match the memories stored in my head?
