…and the past it’s just the beginning…from “Impossible love” series
by Dorina Costras
I’ve seen you in the next life. I can see it in the dark-rimmed hazel irises of your eyes, where the wraiths of past and future dance in a churning embrace of emerald and brown. I can hear it in the way your breath whispers in my ear deep in the dead of night, an airy harmony of memory and passion that promises to haunt me for the centures to come. It’s in the footfalls I will hear against sand and stone and cement, in the caress of fingers that grow gnarled with weather, water, and age, in the brushing of lips that ignite a memory of fire with each and every fusion. I know you understand it too, so there is no need for words to explain this. I need only hold you tight and remind you how much you are the world–how I love you more than I did yesterday and not as much as I will tomorrow.
