Half empty? Half full? Mid-way through? Enough? Not enough by half?
How high do you stand when you gaze at it? Is it at eye-level, have you lowered your head to the plane of the table? Do you loom above, looking down at a pool within a glass? Or have you fallen on the floor, dizzy from the drink, staring at the sunlight glinting off the rim of your bottle?
How nearsighted are you? Did you misplace your glasses again? Or perhaps one contact lens popped out—it’s always hard to judge distances and perception that way. Are you still dizzy from the drink?
Perception is in the eye of the beholder. Character is in the heart. And the drink… the drink is likely in the stomach by now.
Empty. Yea, I’d say the glass is empty. Or full. Full of air, now.
It’s all how you look at it.
